Marty Reeve has been ministering in the Northern Virginia area for over 35 years, serving in many capacities, including church administration, as a minister of music, and in Christian education, as a principal and teacher.
Born in Vincennes, Indiana, he graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and has graduate hours in music from the University of Maryland and George Mason University. He has worked as a general music teacher in Fairfax County for over 25 years and has also worked in curriculum development.
As a pianist and vocalist, Marty has performed at many venues in the DMV area including performing at one of the Presidential inaugural balls. In addition, he has directed and performed with local Christian musicians on the mall in Washington, D.C. in an effort to spread the gospel.
He has been on missions trips to Santiago, Chile and the Ukraine, where he assisted in training students for service to the body of Christ in Eastern Europe.
Marty is currently teaching at Mosby Woods Elementary School in addition to his duties at The King's Chapel.
He and his lovely wife, Kathy, have been married for over 40 years. Their oldest son, Matthew, wife Megan, and daughter Hadley, live in Columbus, OH. Their second son, Jonny, and his wife Jessica and sons, Davis and Levi live in Falls Church, VA. Their daughter, Bethany, lives in Falls Church, VA as well.
