Marty Reeve

Marty Reeve has been ministering in the Northern Virginia area for over 25 years, serving in many capacities, including church administration, as a minister of music, and Christian Education, as a principal and teacher.

 Born in Vincennes, Indiana, he graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. He worked as a general music teacher in Fairfax County and was nominated as a "Teacher of the Year" candidate in 1986. He has also worked in curriculum development.

As a pianist and vocalist, Marty has performed at Lisner Auditorium, Blues Alley, The Cellar Door, and one of President Reagan's inaugural balls in 1980. He also directed and performed with local Christian musicians in the mall in Washington, D.C., in an effort to spread the gospel.

He has been on missionary trips to Santiago, Chile, in 1996 and took two trips to the Ukraine, where he assisted in training students for service in the body of Christ in Eastern Europe.

Marty is currently teaching at Mosby Woods Elementary School in addition to his duties at The King's Chapel.

He and his lovely wife, Kathy, have been married for over 35 years. Their oldest son, Matthew, and his wife Megan, live in Roanoke, VA. Their second son, Jonny, and his wife Jessica and son, Davis live in Arlington, VA. Their daughter, Bethany, lives in Fairfax, VA.
