MIKE OSTERHOUDT

Mike Osterhoudt currently serves as an elder and as the Executive Pastor of Operations at The
King’s Chapel. He has previously served in various other positions within the church since joining
in 2009.


Upon graduation from Penn State University, Mike was commissioned as an officer in the United
States Army Corps of Engineers and served on active duty from 1990 to 2010, achieving the rank
of Lieutenant Colonel. While on active duty, Mike received a Master of Business Administration
from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In 2010 Mike retired from the Army and began a 13-
year journey as a federal employee at the Pentagon working on a diverse portfolio ranging from
Antiterrorism to Space and Missile Defense. Mike retired from federal service in 2023.
In September 2023, Mike answered a call from the Lord to join the pastoral staff of TKC where he
hopes to use his God-given gifts and managerial skills to further serve the body of Christ to the
glory of God.


Mike and his wife Deborah reside in Fairfax, Virginia. Married in 1991, Mike and Deb have four
daughters, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren.
