Colonel Brian Roberts, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve (USMCR Ret), has served in various capacities at The King’s Chapel (TKC) since he departed Active Duty first in August 1996.  While attending Capital Bible Seminary in Lanham, Maryland, he led TKC Youth and Small Group ministries until he was recalled to Active Duty after 9/11 to serve in Operations throughout the Middle East and Afghanistan.  He received an Active Duty retirement in November 2020 and has returned to his church home to focus on small groups, men’s ministries, and pre-marriage counseling with his wife Sarah.

His heart is in sharing the love of God and equipping others to share life in Christ Jesus through sphere of influence evangelism. He supports the Mighty Oaks Foundation - a faith-based Veteran service organization that teaches combat Veterans struggling with Post Traumatic Stress how to get beyond combat trauma and live their lives in the manner God intended – and asks you to share with a veteran who may need to be reminded God still loves them and they are NOT alone.

In addition to a Bachelor Degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, he holds a Master of Military Studies from the Marine Corps University and a Master of Strategic Studies from the Air University.   His personal decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, the Defense Meritorious Service fourth award, the Joint Service Commendation, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
