TKC Cares

Part of the mission of The King’s Chapel is to:
 SERVE OUR NEIGHBOR:
Through the caring for the hurting, feeding the poor, and welcoming the stranger.
REACH OUR WORLD:
Through friendship evangelism, community outreach, and world missionary support.

LOVE IN ACTION
The TKC Cares team seeks out the needs of local organizations or charities, as well as providing benevolence for local needs.  Our church family is often engaged in a projects or supply collection for those organizations -- it might be stuffing backpacks for a local school, helping to replenish a food pantry shelves, giving baskets of food at Thanksgiving, hosting a gathering for foster children, or lending a hand with community projects. Whatever the need, our goal is to Serve Our Neighbor and spread the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Some of the organizations we regularly support are Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (WFCM), Sanctity of Life Ministry (SLM), Mountain View Alternative Learning Center (FCPS), Katherine Hanley Center, Angel Tree (Prison Fellowship), and Project Belong-Virginia.  We also help Reach Our World through support of our Missionaries here and around the world.

“Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.  Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.  Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.”    Romans 12:9-13
